Assessment 2: Analysis of an opening sequence (Resident evil apocalypse)

So in the opening sequence we see the opening credits we first see a CGI image of a company logo (screen gems) then we see another but from Davis films, impact Canada, Constantin film, we then see a logo which is a umbrella logo of the game series and this moves around so the audience doesn't really understand what this is but a person who would of played the games will off. Then we see some of the opening credits telling us who the director is then we are shown an extreme close-up and we see an eye with the umbrella logo imprinted on the retina we then zoom into the eye which turns into some form of computer hologram showing us a basic story of the past movies we then hear the woman on screen say that they died but didn't stay dead this is a typical theme for a zombie movie we then see someone move like she is getting out of bed and then we see someone dragging an axe with deformed feet. we then see some fast paced and quick cuts where we see different shots of zombies we go back to the story of the past movie and we see what dilemma she has got stuck in. we are then put into the position the woman's eyes via a extreme close up then we have a jump cut to see the title of the movie. once they have finished we see a big 7 on the screen and this is made to look like a news bulletin we see that the news presenter is on a green screen and we see a establishing shot when we then see some form of housing which looks idyllic with idyllic looking people and life when a boy throws a paper onto somebody lawn we then see the camera going underground then some form of titles come on screen telling us where we are and we see men in white coats and clothing and they are about to open the "hive" we then see it open and some form of details on a computer screen which shows that a zombie is making its way to a person we then are in the POV of the zombie as it goes towards the white coated person then we have a jump cut and we see a helicopter and lots of FBI looking vehicles moving towards and going through the entrance of raccoon city and goes through different parts of the city via match on action. They then go through the idyllic little village like thing and doesn't ruin the peace. We then see one of the vans go towards the camera which we then see the umbrella logo which would symbolize to the audience who they are. we then see one of the vans go to a house and some FBI looking people taking somebody into the van we then see some form of projection on the window screen they then go to another man’s house and goes to get him he asks to get his daughter and we see a jump cut and see two men getting the daughter from school
